RKIL has been evolved for the past 20 years in areas of energy efficiency with our projects for NRCan, Ontario Hydro, Energy@Work and the Canadian Energy Efficiency Alliance. The concept of a watt saved is a watt earned makes sense, and more opportunities are available now than ever.

Today's hardware has come a long way in both computing power, and energy efficiency. RKIL has recently upgraded several of its servers from traditional desktop or rack computers, to much smaller systems that have much lower power consumption. The new Mac Minis use 1/6th the power of the systems they replace, and in some cases are 4 times faster.

The best of both worlds.
